In Acts chapter 8, we read the story of a man known as Simon the Sorcerer. Simon received Jesus as his Savior and was water baptized, yet he continued to allow the bondage from his past to influence him. God’s desire is for us to understand the difference between the birthing of our spirits and the restoration of our souls.
